This is a complete Dana 18 tapered bearing kit with machined gear.

designed to operate on tapered bearing instead of the caged bearing/trust washer 1-1/8" (1.125) intermediate shaft.
This specifically designed intermediate gear is manufactured for a quick and simple installation. The unit once installed, will eliminate some of the excessive noise and will reduce heating problems. The design utilizes the same principal as the wheel bearings on an automobile and eliminates excessive side load that normally found in both the stock bearing setups. This is hands down one of the best most reliable modifications that can be made to a Dana 18.
